あの安藤忠雄さんをもうならせたという、養老先生の家のまるちゃん。

まんまるい瞳が愛らしいと思ったら、妙に落ち着きのある表情や
摩訶不思議なぐったりした姿勢（どこに骨があるのかわからない…）
をするなど、なんとも味のある猫だと思いました。

なんといっても、まるちゃんに注ぐ先生の視線が可愛いすぎます！
こんなほっこりした先生の表情を見るだけでも、読む価値アリです。
先生のエッセイや勉強になる骨格学、四コマ漫画もついてました。

猫のまるちゃんはもちろんのこと、まるちゃんを抱いたり見つめたりしている
養老孟司さんがとてもかわいかったです！抱っこしてる写真は何とも言えません！
あれほどの方をメロメロにさせてしまう猫の力ってすごいな、と思いました。

表紙ではかわいい子猫のように写っていますが、
1ページめくるとオオッ！この不思議な大猫は何？
ミーアキャットみたいな不思議な立ち姿勢、
垂れパンダを思わせる脱力の寝姿、
そして愛想がなくて達観したような表情、、、。
養老先生をトリコにする摩訶不思議な魅力に満ちています。
養老先生の鎌倉の仕事場が見られるのも楽しいですよ。
