映画版にロボットのキャラ説明が全く無かったため欲しかった本。登場する全13体うち9体のデザイン画と補足説明がついてます。そう、何故か4体省かれています。可哀相なスタースクリーム、アイアンハイド、ボーンクラッシャー、デバステイター…。何故?デザイン画が無かったのか?説明も少し違和感が。フレンジーは無口なロボットと紹介されていますが、映画を見てそう思う人はたぶんいません。ブラックアウトの紹介文(臆病な腰抜け)も玩具版など他の資料の紹介文(有能にして忠実)とだいぶ違うように見えますがどちらが正しいのか?ほとんど思い付きで付けたようなロボット各パーツの説明は笑えるが、全体的に内容はかなり薄い。玩具パッケージに付いてるテックスペックでも書き込んでくれたらよかったのに。でも身長や体重を紹介してるのはよかったかも。これから買う人は他は期待せず絵を目当てに買うように。

日本のインタビューだらけの関連書籍とは違い、元は洋書らしいので写真も多く掲載されています。そして大きく。

映画では右へ左へ飛び回っていて、形が確認しづらいトランスフォーマーたちの形状を把握するにはよい本かもしれません。見開きででかでかと載っているので細部までばっちり

しかし、何故か四体分が丸々収録されていません
アイアンハイド、スタースクリーム、ボーンクラッシャー、ブロウル…
彼らは劇場で売られていたグッズ(ノート、ステッカー、クリアファイル等)にも登場しませんが何か理由が?


ページ数に対して情報量も少ないです
個人的には図鑑のようで好きなのですが、どちらかというと子供向けな気がします
その割には小説等を読まないとわからないような事も書いてあったりするのですが

値段も高め


好きなタイプの本ですが人にはお勧めできません

他に関連書籍も出ていない事でひいき目に採点して星二つでしょうか

映画では動きが早すぎて見えなかった部分をゆっくり眺めることができるという点ではいいと思います。しかし、私が一番見たかったブロウル（デバステイター？）他アイアンハイド、スタースクリーム、ボーンクラッシャーが載っていないんです。しかも薄い、高い。内容も少し子供向けの図鑑を見ているような気がしました。要するにボクならこの本を絶対買いません！！他の人にもあまりおススメはしないです。
