有元さんの大ファンでした。かなり初期の本からずっと持っています。
けれど、『家族のごはん作り』くらいから以降、本の編集が変わっているだけ。
出てくるレシピはデジャヴュ、前に載ってたな、と思うレシピばかりで、それを
フライパン料理としてまとめるか、ストックものとしてまとめるかというテーマ違い
だけで、次々新しい本を出している感じです。例えばストックものでも、どれくらい
持つかの目安も書いてないし……。
特に最近はオリーヴオイルと塩ばかりです。無駄をそぎ落としていくのはいいのですが、
肩に力の入らない柔軟なシンプル「生活者」から、シンプル「求道者」になり過ぎている
気がします。

外見と中身はとてもシックです。
黒を貴重にしていて、写真もとても美しい。
今までのお料理本とは一線を画す感じです。
レシピ本というよりは、お料理の写真集、とでも
言いたいような美しさ。

さて、美しさもさることながら、内容もとてもいいです。
最近、いろいろな料理研究家の方のレシピ本がありますが、
久し振りに買いたいと思うものに出会えました。
ビジュアルの美しさもさることながら、
とても実用的です。
他の方も仰っているように、使い回しが出来るし、
時間がある週末などに作っておいて、
冷蔵庫の中にあると安心感があります。

お料理ビギナーとか一人暮らしを始める方にも
オススメしたいです。

　有本さんの名前とストックという題名に惹かれて購入。
確かにストックによっていくつかメニューができれば、こんなに便利なことはないと思いますが。

致命的なのは、保存の目安が全く書いていないこと。保存食、ストックと書いているからには
どのくらいもつのかが一番知りたいところです。ストックと書いてあって、保存可能期間の目安の記入が全くない料理本に
初めて会いました。びっくり、そして実用度はちょっと低いです。
