前作は、バリの魅力を全方位的に解説した本でしたが、こちらはタイトル通り、バリの食べ物に標準を絞り、これでもか〜〜〜〜〜！！！
・・・とばかりに解説していて、かなり読み応えあります。
ただ逆に言えば、まるまる一冊食べ物ばっかり・・・となるので、本当の意味で、ガイドブック的な物を求めている方には、むしろ前作をオススメしたい。
しかし料理の名前、オススメの店、オーダーの仕方や、食にまつわるコラムなど、かなり詳しく、さすが在住者であり、ライターである田尾さんだなと思いました。
現実問題として、バリに短期旅行をする者にとっては、この情報を使いきれないとは思うけど、バリ好きならば、一冊持っとけよ、と言いたい一冊です。

バリを思い出して、今すぐ飛んで行きたい気分になっちゃいました〜
なんとなく図書館で借りてきたら、構成がいいし写真が多くて読みやすい。
しかも、普通のガイドブックには載らないような、Ｄｅｅｐなお店や料理ばかりなので
すごく面白い。
サクサクッと読んでしまうのですが、何度も手が伸びて読み返してしまいます。
バリに行かないと味わえない、料理や雰囲気を楽しめる本ですね。
そろそろ、図書館に返却しなくちゃいけないので、早速アマゾンで購入しようと思います。

バリへは何度も行ってますが、毎回この本を持って行ってます。
インドネシア料理を全く知らない初心者向けの料理から、ローカルと同じ料理を食べて見たいリピーターまで満足いく内容だと思います。
ガイドブックには載ってないインドネシア料理の色々な話、
野菜や果物、料理のオーダー方法まで幅広く載ってます。
インドネシア料理って本当に奥深いんですねー。
