４月にバリ島に行く為
読ませてもらいましたが。
文章に癖があって正直、読みにくかったです。
現在バリに在住されているとの事だったので
さぞかし現地での
DEEPな情報が読めるんだとワクワクしておりましたが
残念ながら他のガイドブックによく載っているとこばかり。
目新しい情報は思ったよりありませんでした。
ガイトブックに載っている場所に足を運んで
体験したものを載せているというものですね。
しかも文章が・・
すいません田尾さん、文章下手です。

先日、3度目の渡バリしてきました。出発前にちょうどこの「バリ島極楽チャンプル」が発売になったので、早速購入して持って行ったところ、本当に重宝しました。エリア別になっているので便利だし、写真も多いのでイメージが湧きやすいところが良いと思います。私はスミニャックとウブドに行きましたが、お目当ての雑貨や服など、飛行機の中でこの本を読んでしっかり予習していったおかげで、とても楽しいショッピングができました。ちょっと休憩したい時には、やはりこの本に出ていたカフェに行き、レストラン選びの時にも大変便利で、どこもハズレがありませんでした（特にテガラランの「テラスパディ」は最高でした）。他のガイドブックとはぜんぜん違う、こういう本を待っていたって感じです。エッセイ風の文章もおもしろいので、帰って来てからも読んで楽しませてもらってます。またすぐにでもバリに帰りたい！

バリ島が大好きなのに、お金の都合とか休みの都合とかでなかなか行けない。でも、心はいつもバリにあるんだ！！そんな私の心をバリに呼び寄せてくれるような本です。本音で書かれているので、読んでるだけでおもしろいし、参考にもなります。この次行く時は、ここでこれを食べて、これを買って…と、わくわくしながら眺めてると、日本にいるのにバリにいるみたい。

食べ物と買い物情報以外にもスパや散歩道なんかもあって、その説明が普通のガイドブックと違って、エッセイなので親しみやすいし、おもしろく、目をつぶるとバリの匂いがしてきそうです。

私は元々、HISバリフリークのサイトはいつもチェックしています。そのサイトも楽しいけれど、この本はもっと楽しかった。「バリフリーク」フリークには絶対おすすめです。もちろん、これから初バリを考えている人にもわかりやすく書いてあります。

買ってから1ヶ月もたっていないのに、もう第2弾が待ち遠しいです。早く次ぎのを読みたいです。
