　1999年に新風舎から出た単行本『私の骨董一口話』の改題・文庫化。
　かなり加筆修正されているらしい。
　著者は29才になるまで、骨董には何の興味もなかったという人物。それが近所の陶芸倶楽部に通い始めたのをきっかけに、古い陶磁器に関心を持ち、たまたま骨董市に連れて行かれたところ、病みつきになってしまったのだという。
　本書では、お気に入りの骨董市と、そこで手に入れた逸品の話が中心になっている。染め付けの、デザインの可愛らしいものが好きなようで、カラー写真で紹介されている絵皿を見ると、思わずなごんでしまう。
　堅苦しい内容ではなく、骨董の知識などなくてもさらりと読める一冊。そんなに高い買い物もしないし、身近な骨董好きといった感じだ。
　ただ、特に面白い本でもなかった。こういうのは、入れ込んでくれた方が魅力的な内容になるのかも知れない。

今まで骨董に関心を持ったことがなかったのですが、この本を読んで骨董についてもっと知りたくなりました。
筆者の骨董への熱い想いは読んでいて楽しかった！写真も多く、勉強になりました。
