刃旗使いと棺守の戦いを描いた、ワールドエンブリオの5巻目。
今回はネーネが家出したり、海に行ったり、夏祭りに行ったりと、日常の描写が主で、バトル要素は少なめです。ですが、非日常の部分では、タカオが刃旗使い相手に互角以上に戦える理由やレナの記憶の一部が判明したり、新しい刃旗使いが出てきたりと伏線の回収&新しい伏線の出現もしっかりしており、バランスが取れていると感じました。また、ラストでは一気に状況が動き、今後の展開にも期待大です!

あと個人的なことですが、36話ラストのネーネの可愛さは異常です。

人の命と記憶を奪い、驚異的な繁殖力を持つ謎の敵｢棺守｣と、異能者｢刃旗使い｣の戦いを描いたSF漫画の第5巻。

本巻はある意味激動です。
今回新たに仲間が一人増えましたが、彼が｢刃旗使い｣となったのは果たして偶然なのか？
過去の事件を考えると、偶然を装った必然では？
パートナー、有栖川レナの過去に関わる事象が発覚することで、関係を修復できた主人公リクですが、新たに関わってきたクラスメイト吾妻ユイとの関係は、レナとの関係に新たな影を刺しはじめた様な…。
知識も増え、自我も確立されてきたネーネが、自分の状況やリクと周囲の人たちの関係に小さからぬ影響を受け始め、これからどう成長していくのか…。　少なくとも平穏無事な日々には程遠い様です。

ラストでクラスメイトが見せた反応。
彼女はどうなったのか、これからどうなるのか？！
森山大輔さん、ストーリー構成が上手過ぎです。　気になってしょうがない！


余談ですが気になる点と見所を

　Intermission：分室組の日常とネーネの表情が◎
　レナ：何だかんだ言って、みんなに溶け込んでる＆やっぱいじられキャラ
　作中の季節柄：水着でしょうか

気になる点
　レナの過去：脇役だと思ってた剣持先生も絡んできますか？　あの巫女さんは一体？
　感染源：結構身近な人？
　リクと周囲の関係：えぇもう、数え切れないくらいです

あいつがついに！！！

吾妻さんの意外な趣味！！！！

いろいろ見所がたくさんありますね。恋愛のほうもちょくちょく・・・

だけど、最後に衝撃的な展開があなた待ち受けます。
