熱力学の前半部分は飛ばして使っています。
前半部分は他の本で勉強しました。

問題数が多く、面白い問題、計算重視の問題など様々です。
ABCで難易度を分けて作ってますが、A問題をやるだけでもかなりの力が付くでしょう。

レジュメが上手くまとまっており、ああ、こういう事だったよな
と思いだすのにとても役立っています。
院試の対策などにもいいでしょう。

ただ、全部やろうとするのは、他のレビューにもあるとおり
難しいかも知れません、また時間も結構かかると思うので
他の勉強に充てるのも良いと思います。

また、初心者向きの本では無いでしょう。
他の本を読むというインセンティブが無い状態で
大学初学年の最初の方にこの本を薦められて買って、
統計力学、熱力学がわからない、と思いこんでしまう人も
多いようです。あくまで演習書であり、使いようという事なのでしょう。

良い書物です。継続的に入手できる出版社の努力に敬意を評します。一方、使う側には賢明さが必要のように思われます。この問題集、全部解けたからって、行き着く先はなんだろうか？博士フリーター？もっとコンパクトに本質を理解できる選択肢はあるでしょう。

Many Japanese believe this is the best book for thermodynamics and stastical physics. However, this is not the standard in the world although this is translated in many countries.
I took a graduate class in USA, but this book was helpless.
Some people must add different type of problems in this book although because of Kubo's name, it might be difficult.

From "World Scientific", there are a series of Problems and Solutions for many fields of physics. Once you open these books, you realize, Physics is deep and only very narrow area is taught in Japan.
