本作は「Jの総て」（全三巻）に登場していた主人公格の、真面目な優等生ポールと、
脇役（と言うには重要なポジションだった）で活躍していたモーガンの出逢いから始まるストーリーです。
イラストはより一層洗練されて美しく、少年時代の二人を際立たせています。
そして「Jの総て」では不良として登場していたモーガンの、秘められた青春時代と淡い想いが描かれていて
改めて「Jの総て」を読み返したくなりました。

この本を知って、読んでから「Jの総て」を購入された方もいらっしゃるかとは思いますが、
これから読もうと思っていらっしゃる方には、「Jの総て」全巻と本書を同時に買われてから、
「Jの総て」を先に読み、後で本書を読まれることをおススメしたいと思います。
その方が、本書を読み進めるうちに、「Jの総て」で感じていたポールや、特にモーガンへのイメージが
激しく変化して行くと思うからです。

ちなみに本書には、巻末に「Jの総て」の後日談が描き下しで12ページ収録されています。
それも踏まえて、「Jの総て」と合わせて読む事をお薦めしたいですね。

絵柄がとても綺麗。
こんな綺麗な曲線で人物を描いている漫画は初めて見ました。
すれ違ってしまう登場人物たちが悲しすぎる。
Jの総ての方も読んでみたいと思いました。

いつ見ても綺麗の一言に付きます。
ストーリーもすごく良いです。ただ2、3巻位続いたら、嬉しかったかな(笑)

Jの総てを読んでからの方がのほうがストーリーが分かりやすいと思いますよ。

明日美子さんの本は一回は絶対に読んで欲しい位素敵です。
読んだら虜になりますよ。
