変わった不動産物件を紹介するサイト、東京R不動産で有名な馬場くんが
九十九里に土地を買って家を建てるまでの顛末です。

内容については、他のレビュアーの方が上手に纏めているので譲りますが、
僕が感心したのは次の点。

・本当の意味で自分のアタマで考えて行動していること
・何もないところから新たなビジネスを創出していること
・本人が一番楽しんでいること（これが大切！）
・『建築』の可能性を広げようとしていること

不況だ不況だといっていても始まりません。
自らも悩み＆楽しみながら、クリエィティブに状況を生み出して行く馬場
くんのような動きが、今もっとも求められているのだと思います。

建築に詳しくない私にとっても分かりやすくて、とっても面白かった内容でした！

実際に家を建てようとしている人にとっては豆知識豊富でためになるし、
そうではない人にとってもライフスタイルを見つめ直すきっかけになると思います。

堅苦しくないから気軽に読めるし、笑っちゃう場面も多いです。
でもそうかと思えば、深い話にも発展していて考えさせられました。

この本を読んで郊外に家を買いたくなる人も多いと思います。
私も将来のマイホームをいろいろ妄想してしまいました。

建築の本ではあるが、一気に読めるし
実用的でお得感もあり。

個人としての土地探しや資金調達、
建築家としてのコスト削減などの使える情報だけでなく
「生き方」のような本質的なところにまで掘り下げて書かれている。

たとえば著者の人生を引きながら、
賃貸でいくのか買ってしまうのか、ずっとここに住むのか？など
そのために、今まで住んできた家の間取りや家計、
家族の歴史が「い、いいのか？」と思うほど書かれていて笑う。

家を買おう（建てよう）としている人には役立つマニュアルであり、
人生について考えてみたい人にとっては
笑えるエピソードありの家族エッセイとしても読める。
でも、奥さんは本当に納得してるのかな？
