旧タイプのオタクが萌えオタクが気にいらねえ、って飲み屋でくだ巻いているような雑談本です。

まあ中原昌也の脱線しまくるギャグは面白いけれど、全体的に議論が雑。

「ギャルゲーに出て来る女は、母親とか妹とか障害者とか自分を差別しなさそうな女ばっかり」ってくだりは、まあそういう部分もあるかなと思える。
けれど、だんだん議論がおかしくなっていって「萌えオタ=差別主義者」「萌えオタ=嫌韓厨」ってことに。
そりゃあまりに乱暴ですよ。

「高偏差値オタクが低偏差値オタクを差別して優越感に浸っているらしい。本当に最低な奴らだ」
みたいなこと書いているんですが、そりゃあんたたちが言ったらダメでしょ。鏡を見ろ！

文章自体はテンポ良く、さくさく読み進められますが、
行間？間が空きすぎて読みづらい。
内容はわりとありきたりなメジャーになりすぎたオタク文化への警鐘、とみせかけて、
結構偏見に基づくジョークや嫌味が満載。
嫌韓流に対する恨みでもあるのか、嫌韓派（？）な人を「人種差別の豚野郎」とまで書いてある。

オタクの間に蔓延する「差別」を糾弾しつつ、
実はオタクや嫌韓人を一番差別しているアナーキーな一冊。
チンピラの吐き捨てだと笑って読み流せる人向け。

オタクを論ずる本は多々あるが、数少ないアンチオタク本という意味では貴重。

しかし、中原さんをはじめこの面子は議論することができていない。
議論・批評というのはロジカルでなければ何の説得力もない。
この本はロジカルさがあまりにもなく、ただの愚痴としか言えない。

しかも対象が理系中心である“オタク”であるのだからなおさらロジカルでなければならないのに、
感情論を中心にただひたすら「だって嫌いなんだもん」と言い続けてるような内容。
オタクを批判したいのか、オタクを持ち上げすぎてる社会を批判したいのか、その両方なのか。
それすら定まらないまま会話しているような印象です。

あと、この本の内容は「嫌オタク流」ではなく「嫌萌え流」ですよ。
また、“萌え”に“ポルノ”とルビを振るのも、書籍においては武力制圧のようなもので、
子供のダダのようにしか見えなかった。

方向性としては面白いのに、残念すぎる内容でした。
