オアフ島２，３回目でワイキキから離れた地域に行ってみたい方への入門書という感じです。
ノースショア、カイルア、それからファーマーズマーケットにスワップミート。
レンタカーで移動する方にはおすすめです。
１時間程度のドライブでワイキキとはまた違ったハワイを楽しめます。

ただ、ホノルル地域の情報以外はハワイ本（２００７）と写真まで全く同じ。
もう少し掘り下げてもらいたかったです。

ちょっと地図がいまいちかとは思いますが、その不足を圧倒して余りある情報量の豊富さで読ませる、ハワイはオアフ島専用のガイドブックです。
お食事どころは超高級レストランからスーパーのお総菜まで、余り日本人の行かない観光スポット、義理土産一覧からハワイオリジナルお奨めショップまで、もちろん初めてハワイに行く人なら必ずお世話になる？ＤＦＳショップ内地図まで、かゆいところに手が届く内容です。但し、空港からのアクセスなど交通情報などの旅行基本情報に関しては必要最低限のことしか書いていないので、別の観光ガイドなども参考にした方がいいでしょう。
ハワイに関する観光ガイドでは今のところ一番興味深く、内容豊富でおもしろく読めました。

この本とてもいいと思う。フツーのガイドと違ってとても面白いです。

毎年出てます。しか〜し。・・・情報と写真の流用が多いです・・・毎年購入・・・とはちょっと・・・と、思います。

でも、初めてこのシリーズを買う人にはオススメです。
