商業的に「みんなが見たがるイメージ」を量産するでもなく、作家的になにかを追求するでもない、ただ「撮影者にとっての快楽」を求めて、カメラと遊んでいるように見える。
作家は作品を通じて社会になにかを訴えなければならないというのは、確かに現代美術の悪しきドグマであり、そのことによって観る人間が息苦しくなるような作品も多々あるのだが、それにしても中途半端に過ぎるとは思う。
内田氏は、何のために制作しているのだろうか？

「ライカとモノクロの日々」の続編的ですね．
でも写真は、月刊カメラマン等のどこかで、すでに見ている写真もあり
新鮮味が薄いです。
作者自身が、同じ所を彷徨ってしまっているようで
見終わった後の爽快感がありません。

やっぱり内田さんは文章とセットでこそ説得力があるカメラマンですね。

いくつかレビューがついてますが、
先入観なしにみたら　いい本だと思います。

内田ユキオさんの本は今まで、
ライカのカメラ関連の本が二冊、

写真と文章のみだと「ライカとモノクロの日々」が
あると思いますが、
「ライカとモノクロの日々」は文庫版で
写真が小さいのが不満でした。

その点、この本は比較的写真が大きく、
余計なカメラの解説とかないので
とても落ち着いて読めます。
使われている写真も質が高くて
静かでとてもいい。おすすめです。

あえて言えば、文章の主題が
カメラを使っている人に向けてなので
そうでない人にはややわかりにくい部分や
思いが多いかもしれませんが
それでも写真の魅力を丁寧に
伝えようとしていることが伝わってきます。

また自らのプライベートに絡んでくるような
生々しい写真はないのですが、
そもそもそういうタイプの写真家ではないのだと思います。
