表紙のカメラ、かわいいです。
昔のカメラ、と聞いて浮かぶイメージと、だいぶ違うと思います。
30年前の日本にこのカメラがあって、
このカメラに憧れていた著者が、時を超えて手に入れる幸せなお話。

ほしいな、と思っていたデジカメは、３年経てば
消えていく。
今はそんな時代だから、こんなドキドキはなかなか
体験できないかな。
ちょっとうらやましく思いながら読みました。

フィルムの個性的なカメラを使ってみたいな、と思っている人は、
その魅力を味わってみては。

もちろん、マニアックな期待も、裏切りません。
プロのカメラマンとして活躍されているMazKenさんは、
ハーフサイズのリズミカルな写真の世界を、
たっぷり堪能させてくれます！

まず、全編とても身近なテーマで書かれているので親しみがもてました。
高級な輸入カメラだとか海外ロケの自慢的な内容ではなく、中学生の時に憧れ
たカメラを40才を過ぎてから手にして｢カメラ小僧｣に戻って遊ぶという話に、
モノと人との幸せな関係が伝わってきました。
写真も文章も筆者の鋭いけど優しい人柄が出ていて、むずかしい修理の話をサ
ラリと読み飛ばせば、私のような機械音痴でもペンＦＴというすてきなデザイ
ンのカメラを手にして撮りたくなります。
写真を撮るのが好きな女性にお薦めです。

~　クラシックカメラ関連の本ではブランドイメージ先行で、伝説化した話を病的に繰り返すか、または私小説世界にどっぷりな内容の多いのですが、この本は違います。
　著者が撮影した写真もたっぷりで、しかも、偏愛が創り出す強引な内容ではなく、オリンパスの名機であるペンFTを、大事にメンテナンスして、デジカメ時代に有効に使うための、実体験に基づいた~~ノウハウが過不足なく語られています。素晴らしい設計の機械は時代を超えて愛されるということが納得できる本です。~
