4.0 out of 5 stars iTunesの活用まできちんと解説されてて, 2005/1/23
　ほかの解説本ではマニュアルにもあるような通り一遍のことが書いてあるだけだが、iTunesの活用がきちんと解説されててうれしい。
　また、タグ編集やオーディオフォーマットの変換などの使いこなし情報や、さらにグレーな部分まで解説されている。
　もちろんインターネットで調べ上げればこれらの情報は取得できるのだが、整理されているのでわかりやすい。
　これらの情報は生ものなので1年もすると十分古い話なるだろう。しかしここでいったん自分なりに整理しておけば基本がわかって応用が利くに違いない。2004年11月が発刊なので、さすがに iPod Shuffle には間に合わなかった。

本の題名通り、HACKSというように本当に、その道のことがたくさんかかれています。 一般のｉPｏｄの本にはのっていない様な俗に言うマニア的な手段がたくさんしかも分かりやすく記されてあります。
しまった！！曲データが消えてしまったというときの対処法や、面倒なコピーコントロールＣＤの取り込み方法などとにかくすみからすみまで、役立つことが満載です。
しかし、その一つ一つの作業にもいちいちファイルを落とさないといけないので面倒ですね（笑）そして字ばかりですがその中には進行過程の画面が一緒に乗っているので比較的初心者の方にもお勧めかもしれません

iPodとiTunesのグレー部分の使いこなし、という自分の知りたい事の９０％が載っていた感じ。調べる時間と根気も無く諦めかけてた時に見つけ、もう少しiPodをいじってみたくなった。初歩的な説明や余計な説明が一切無く、必要な項目にたどり着ける簡潔さが素敵。iPodやiTunesの基本的な使い方を知りたい人は別の専門書を買った方が良いかも。若干もう少し突っ込んで欲しいところや知りたい事もあるけど、それは自分で調べることにして。もっと早くこの本に出会ってれば楽だったなぁ。no music no life :)
