Linuxを開発しようと思うと、たいてい厚い本ばっかりである。
しかしながら、この本は、薄い本でありながら、Linuxのビルドからネットワークデバイスドライバの開発までインラインアセンブラを含めて実践的な話を一通り説明している。
入門として、デバイスドライバの開発をして見たいと言う人には、うってつけの本である。そして、各自の必要に応じて、必要な部分の知識を別の本などで得ていくことを進める。
