「手ぶくろを買いに」で黒井健さんの絵に一目ぼれしてから、カレンダーがあることを知り喜び勇んで購入。
　ふわふわとそれぞれの輪郭が溶けていくような、優しい色調が大好きです。絵本でお馴染みの可愛い動物達は描かれていませんが、どこか懐かしいような異国でもあるような風景が、季節の陽光や月に照らされ、湖面や川面・草原や雪に淡く反射する様にほっと和みます。カレンダーの日付の余白も十分で、予定の書き込みなども十分にでき活用できます。
　空と太陽の光が季節ごとに繊細に描き分けられた絵は、季節の個性を強烈には感じさせませんが、見る人の思い出から連想を促しそうです。
　一番好きな絵は、表紙もなっている、9月の一面の田んぼに揺れるコスモスと猫じゃらしの風景。コスモスと猫じゃらしの手前にじゃれ付こうとしている仔猫が隠れていそうです。先日岩手の「宮沢賢治記念館」に行った時に、車窓からずっと続いていた景色を思い出させます。見とれるばかりで写真を撮りそこねた私には、旅行の記念のよう。黒井さんが宮沢賢治に惹かれ、四季を通じて岩手に通っていたということを、このカレンダーを購入して知りましたが、宮沢賢治の不思議で優しいのに、どこか心の隅に痛みと郷愁を覚えるような作品にまた浸りたくなりました。
