実にほのぼのとした動物のイラストで有名なイラストレーターことボンボヤージュさんの初の海外旅行記がこちらです、旅先はイタリア、普段は出歩く事も苦手で旅行もあまりしないというボンボヤージュさんの初の海外旅行がイタリアとは、長期の旅行でホームシックなるぬジャパンシックにかかったり、食べ物のボリュームに驚いたり、可愛らしいイラストを褒められて上機嫌になったり、と思うと似顔絵描きに実にエロイ男に描かれてへこんだりと読んでいて結構、面白かったですね。

　本屋でふと見かけて、立ち読みしたら面白かったので、即購入。

　ちびギャラのボンボヤージュさんが描いたイタリア旅行記です。
　全編に流れる脱力感溢れるテイスト（誉め言葉）が何とも言えない味わいを醸し出しています。
　旅慣れてない人の海外旅行というのも新鮮味があって、凄く面白かった。
　そんなわけでボンさんの失敗談がとても笑えます。
　持って行って失敗したモノとか、ホテルでの粗相とか。一番笑えたのは、ナポリでナポリタンを食べようとした事ですが(笑)。

　しかしこれを読むと、旅行記をイラストで記録出来るというのは、正直羨ましい。
　分かり易く、共感しやすいという点では、イラストの表現力はピカイチです。
　イタリアの魅力をたっぷり伝えてくれるので、イタリアに行きたくなる事請け合いです。
　うずうず。

旅の内容ももちろん面白かったが、イラストの細かさとクオリティーに感動した。こんなオールカラーで細部にまでこだわって描いてらして、これは本当に制作に２年かかりますよ。母に見せたら、大変気に入ったようで、何度も何度も読んでました。そして本当にイタリアへと旅立っていきました。すごいパワーです。この本。
