本当に綺麗で鮮やかな表紙です。これなら表紙を見て買う方もおられるかも知れません。
デモニック編は本棚に表紙が見えるように飾ってます。綺麗だなあ。

話は児童書らしい冒険劇と共に色々な伏線が入ってきて
どんどん謎が謎を呼ぶ展開になってきています。
ファンタジー有り、黒幕の政治的思惑有り、ホラー要素有り(?)で
とてもテンポがいいです。
黒幕側の緊迫したシーンの後、主人公たちのシーンに変わって
何をやっているかと思えば「再起動だ！」とか・・あまりの緩急に吹きました。
(たぶん読んでいただけるとわかると思います・・）
とにかく笑えるシーンが多いです。なんでこんなにシリアスにならないんだろう？
主人公単体、ヒロイン単体だと少しシリアスな場面があるのですが、
残りの1人が加わると何故か・・げふんげふん
ある意味波乱万丈なんですが、明るく楽しい話でした。
4巻で終わりらしいですが、続きがとても気になります。

ちなみに、初版だったせいか、ある方の台詞「ネニャフル」が「ネニャプル」に・・。
真面目なシーンだっただけに、その後何事もなく続いていく会話がおかしくておかしくてたまりませんでした。文字起こしミスですかな。

　出　ま　し　た　…！

ついに三巻！
物語はグイグイ進んで、ついにジョシュアとマキシミンは、ある女性と出会います！
イカボーン(初代デモニック)の時代の秘密もだんだんわかってきて
ジョシュアの血族の運命や約束の人々との関係が浮かび上がります。
ケルス(幽霊司祭)の姿もマキシミンとリチェに公開されて、ぐっと打ち解けるし
地下組織のアノ人ももう一人のジョシュアが居ることに気づいて動くし！
読んでて途中でやめられない魅力(むしろ魔力！)がダダモレです！

今回のジョシュアは
一巻のときのデモニックなジョシュアでもあるようで
二巻のときの舞台俳優なジョシュアでもあるようで
また、｢ジョシュア｣という人そのものになれた気もします。
ふっ、とチカラが抜けたとゆーか？
まあマキシミンとリチェがいたら、ジョシュアは大丈夫な気がする。
狂ったりしないし、簡単に消えたりしない。
そんな絆が見え隠れした感じ。


この作品って
話が入り組んでて、伏線がいっぱいあって
大人向けなファンタジーだろうなぁ！
ハリポタなんかじゃ満足できないわ！って人には、是非、すすめたいです。
登場人物一人一人の価値観・考え方が全然ちがう！
作者の視点ってどれだけいっぱいあるんだろう。
この濃ゆさは、ハードカバーで2000円ちかくしても買い！ですね！！
