国民的娯楽と呼ばれるパチンコ、趣味や娯楽でパチンコをやる人は多いですが、その業界内の現状や問題点はほとんど知られていません。
そんな普通の人が生活する日常の社会とはほんのちょっと違った社会を、小気味よいテンポでユーモラスに描いています。
とにかく一気に読み切らないと気が済まない文章力と展開力があり、独特の世界観を醸しだしています。
パチンコがテーマでありながら、ギャンブル小説や暴露本ではないところが素晴らしいと思いました。
パチンコ愛好家や業界関係者にとっては非常に為になる作品、パチンコをやらない人にとっては新たな世界観を知る面白い作品だと思いました。

パチンコ業界の現状がどういうものか、よく分かる本だと思いました。
単なる業界の暴露本などとは違い、あちこちに人間味があふれています。
物語の展開に臨場感と緊張感があり、リアリティを感じさせてくれました。
文章量も長すぎず、短すぎず、丁度良いといったところでしょうか。
いい意味で「これまでに読んだことのないタイプの本と出合った」というのが、率直な感想です。
