画面にたいして読者の視点は遠くにおかれているようですね。
背景にくらべると登場する動物たちは　とても小さく描かれています。

たとえば、「２月のねこ」は屋根の上にちょこんと乗っている。
いったい何をしているのでしょう？　きっと陽なたぼっこだろう。
なんて安直に決めつけようとすると、けっしてそうではないとくる。
ちゃんとそこに居たい理由があることを教えてくれるのだ。

ものごとを見た目で勝手に判断してはいけない。
その猫は猫なりに思う所があって、そこにいるわけである。

この傍観者の視点と当事者の視点とのズレが心地よい。
ちょっとだけ心が広がった気になれる。

こんな画面と文が１月から１２月まである。
ご丁寧に目次までついているけど、これも絵の一部と見なしたい。

けっしてうそではありません。

１月から１２月まで、いろんな出来事に、「けっしてそうではありません」と
お馴染みのイラストと素敵なお話が綴られています。

ページをめくりながら、うふふ・・と、優しい気持ちになれる絵本です。

大人にも子供にも、いろんな出来事が起きますが
こんな風にユーモアのある考え方が出来たら素敵だな〜と思いました。

　「朝ご飯を食べなきゃダメ」と同じで、これはもう読まなきゃダメ（笑）

　一枚一枚ページをめくる。言葉を声に出して読む。すると、
　「愛しているとは、こういうことさ。」と、五味さんのつぶやきが聞こえてくる。

　だって、オケラとアメンボはいい奴かもしれないけど、友達かどうかわからないじゃないですか。

　ということで、遠くの知り合いに向けたプレゼントにいいですよー。
