小学校低学年の子供たちに絵本の読み聞かせのボランティアに行っています。
学校のご好意で、1歳８ヶ月の長男を連れて行ったので、一緒にボランティアをしてくださる方が選んでくださったこの本を最初に読みました。
始めの方は静かに聞いていましたが、「顔がしわくちゃだ」「おしっこシャワー」「ハイハイができたらいたずらをしたよ」と赤ちゃんが成長していくにつれ、おもしろがって笑い出したり、「ぼくそんなのしてないー！」など、いろいろな反応が見られました。「たって歩いたよ」というところでは、私の長男のことだ！と皆で言っていました。
自分の妹弟、または自分が聞いている自分の赤ちゃんの頃の話を思い出しながら聞いてくれていたのかもしれません。
私もまた、自分の子供たちの赤ちゃんの頃を思い出しながら読みすすめていきました。
初めての読み聞かせでしたが、おかげですんなりと先に進める事ができました。
子供だけではなく、大人にもお薦めの本だと思います。
