科学で未だ証明されることが少ない”気功”を正しく普及させる目的で書かれており、
感情的に押し付けるような表現がなく、好感が持てる。

気功を取り巻く現状に関して、いろんな例を挙げて説明。
中でも、東大医学部卒業で、その後消化器ガンを専門としていた外科医の寄稿や対談が興味深い。

この本を読んで、気功の力を信じるか信じないかは別問題。
ただ、こういうことが起こっているんだ、と認識することが、この本の目的なのかなと思う。
”なんとなく、あの人とは気が合いそう”とか、”なんだかあの場は好きじゃない”など、
いわゆる直感と呼ばれる感覚は誰もが日常的に経験していること。それと同じだと思う。

前作の「ぷるぷる健康法」と若干重複している部分もありましたが、著者の気功に対する真摯な姿勢や人柄等、より詳しく知ることが出来ました。
気功治療に対する理解を深めたい人にはお勧めです。
