最近、デジタル一眼を手に入れましたが、カメラ自体の操作方法はおろか、一眼レフの写真撮影の基本的な用語、テクニックなどの基礎知識も何もなく、色々と参考書を探していましたが、この本を書店で一見して「これ！」と思い、すぐに求めました。カラフルな図が多く、分かりやすい。用語の説明も必要最小限でしっかり頭に入ります。特定の機種の操作に立ち入らなくても、十分機能が理解できる。その他豊富な作例と、撮影のヒントも充実していて、さらに薄くて気軽に読めるのがうれしいです。通勤途中の電車で読んでいます。薄い本なのに、内容充実していて、とてもお勧めだと思いました。これを読んでから、自分のカメラの取扱説明書を読んだところすぐに頭に入ってきました。デジタル一眼レフカメラの基礎知識を覚えるのに、必要十分な本だと思います。厚い本はもちろん充実してると思いますが薄いのにこれだけの効果、驚きです。

初心者の本は他にも購入したのですが、
こちらの本が一番わかりやすかったです。

特に「絞り」「焦点距離」「シャッタースピード」「被写界深度」
図がたくさんあるので、頭の中ですぐにイメージできました。

絞り、シャッタースピードをどう変化させると適正露出になるのか、
露出オーバーになるのか、具体例がきちんと書かれています。

主人が私の成長ぶりに驚いていたので、本当にわかりやすいんだと思います。
表紙のカメラはオリンパスですが、全く関係ありませんので、
どの機種を使っていらっしゃっても大丈夫ですよ。
