要点が確実におさえられていて、非常に読み進めやすい構成です。
用語がごちゃごちゃしておらず、理解しやすい図版でまとめられています。
何よりも猫のキャラクタもマッチしています。
初心者向けでさっと読めるので、問題集に早い段階から取り掛かることができます。

今回、この本と過去問（解説付き）を使って1週間集中して勉強しました。

過去問（解説付き）のほうは、1問ずつちゃんと解説が付いていたのですが、
微妙に説明足らずで、「なんでそこでそうなんの？？」ということが多々ありました。
そこでこの本を使いました。
深くは書かないものの、他の参考書ではあっさり飛ばして説明している部分を
丁寧に補足してくれるので勉強しやすかったです。
基本情報試験は広く浅くなので、自分としては
全体を完全に深く把握しようという気はなかったため、
非常に合っていたと思います。

この本ですべて知りたいという人にはオススメしません。
ただ、勉強の仕方次第ですが、試験勉強を順調に進めるためには良い本だと思います。

元々1冊の本で基本情報についてものすごく詳しく解説している本があるとしたら
どれだけぶ厚くなるんでしょうね。。。

基本情報の方は範囲が広い所為もあり基本を少し飛ばしていて
それのおかげで説明が多少難解になっている…というより、「勘違い」しやすくなっている感じを受けました。
それでもわかりやすい部類には入るとは思うので、損はほとんどの場合しないと思う、もし購入するのならばこの本にも載っている受験対策サイトの掲示板をフルに活用することをお勧めします。
