5.0 out of 5 stars 読み物としても秀逸です, 2005/10/21
前作、「自宅でパン屋を・・・」はずいぶんアグレッシブな内容で、読んでいてハラハラドキドキであった。今度は２０才台の女性向けとかで、易しい内容なのだろうか。否、易しく書いてあるが中身はとってもコアである。文書体はまさしく前作と同じ鋭い切り口、「普通の主婦」でありながらワインアドバイザー資格を取ってしまった著者そのものである。
この本は初心者向けの体裁をとったマニア向けの本と思う。成美堂出版の「パンの辞典」がヴィジュアル中心としたら、本書は文章中心である。２冊とも揃えばパンに関するコアな知識はすべてそろうのではないか。
因みに本書の最後に初めて出てくるご家族の話が泣かせる、が私の直接インタビュでは・・・。

　以前、大和田さんのパンを食べたことがあり、素直で美味しいパンだなと思っていましたので、早速、本を購入してみました。
　パンの「テイスィング」？聞き慣れない表現ですが、ごく当たり前ながら、体系づけられたパンの目利き方法。実践してみると、普段何気なく食しているパンも趣が違ってきますね。
　そして何より、パン、チーズ＆ワインとの相性チェックは、かなり目の詰まった内容ながら分かりやすく、親しみやすく説明されていて感心しました。
　さらに、要所で挿入されている【COLUMN】、著者を映像のワンシーンで観ているかのようなリアルさで楽しめます。
　パン、チーズ＆ワインを見事に融合させた本。これって、ありそうで、なかった本ですね。ナイスな切り口です。大和田さんの食に対する思い、パンに対する愛情が伝わる一冊でした。

この本の著者は、大和田聡子さん、２人の子供の母であると同時に、
自宅で、金、土、日の３日間、11時から、パンがなくなるまで、
天然酵母のパン屋さんを開いている。

また、ワインのソムリエールとして、田園調布のﾋﾞｺﾞでワインセミナーも主宰する、才能あふれた女性だ。

この本を読んでみて感じたのは、「意外と専門的な本だな」と言う事。
専門的な知識をさりげなく、素人の読者に読ませてしまうのは、著者の力量と言えよう。

この本を読んで、パンと、ワインと、チーズの　データーベースを作って、ビジュアルに組み合わせてみたくなった。

美味しい　組み合わせを　探していくのは、本当に楽しい事だ。
