この本は基本的な事項は割と説明を省いているため
ある程度下地が無いと厳しいと思います。
また、合間に挿入されている練習問題は解説が書いてないので
なぜそういう答えになるのかというプロセスが理解できず
戸惑うかもしれません。

他の本とくらべて、カラーでイラストも多く見やすいので、書店で購入しました。
ダラダラと無駄な記述がないので、電車の中で読め、かなり気に入ってます。
ところどころに挿入してある問題の解説がないとの書き込みがありましたが、そうでもないです。計算問題のところには解説があるので、解き方がわかってたすかります。
ただ午後対策には別の参考書を買わなければ、対応できません。
CD-ROMは、解いた問題に対して自動採点をしてくれたり、ジャンルごとに問題をとけたりとかなりおもしろいです。CD-ROMに解説がないのが残念ですが…

何冊か見比べてこれを選びました。
文字だけの説明だけでなく図やイラストを用い視覚的にも理解しやすくて長時間見ていても疲れずらい感じ。
とても分かりやすく初心者向けの内容構成になっています。
初心者向けとは言っても内容的には確実に出題傾向を抑えてあり要点も分かり易く、他書に比べて出来は良いと思います。
この価格で計算問題対策の付録と全4回分の過去問ＣＤ-ＲＯＭがついているのでお得ではないでしょうか。ただ使用している紙がペラペラでやすっぽいですが・・・
この本1冊の他に午後問の言語問題の対策本が必要っぽいです。
