家庭に有る２台のPCを繋げてLANを構築する為の方法を、初心者向けに分かり易く解説した本です。

前提となる環境は98/MEとXP、又はXP同士の構成になります。

ADSLは何か？といった基本的な事柄の解説に始まり、LAN構築のために必要なハードウェアの紹介やセットアップ手順、プリンター・ファイルの共有方法、無線LANやセキュリティの説明を、コミカルなイラストを交えてツボを押さえて解説しています。

LANに関する本は、小難しいTCP/IPの解説から始まっている事が多いですが、本書ではそういった理屈は割愛し、初心者でも気軽に家庭内LANを構築出来るように易しく説明されています。

「難しい理屈は抜きにして、とりあえずPCを繋げたい！」という方にお薦めの良書です。
