私はＰＩＣを使いませんが、それでもモーター制御、センサの使い方など動くモノを作るにはよくわかり、参考になります。

最初は、電子工作でよく使用する部品についての説明、使い方など
そして、設計のためのフリーソフトの使用法
製作でのハンダ付け方法のコツ
ＰＩＣの使い方

と回路の知識があれば、作り上げるのに必要な知識、方法がわかりやすく書かれています。

ただし、回路の基本をすでにわかる人に向けて書かれていますので、回路図を読めない初心者にはまだ難しいと思います。

最初の部品についての説明は同作者の著書　「電子工作入門」

とダブっているところがありますが、この別本は、電子工作全般の説明なのに対し、本書は別本と同様の、項目に分けた説明の仕方、でライントレース車を作り上げるまでに必要なことが基礎的なことからPICの使用方法にまで順を追って進められています。

今まで、電子工作をしてきたが、なにかセンサで感知して、自分で判断して自動感知で一人で動くモノを作りたいという人には、入り口から出来上がりまで、動かすためのモーター、制御ＩＣの説明、感知するセンサの回路など、使用するＰＩＣの方法も書かれ、順序よく書かれているので、よいと思います。

ＰＩＣを使わなくても、モノを動かすために、信号を出してモノを動かす、センサの信号を得るというような回路製作には、書かれている説明、回路、回路図を書くためのフリーソフトの説明などは十分参考になりました。

ＰＩＣと電子工作がある程度できる人向きです。
初心者向けに、説明もわかりやすく書いてありますが、
やはり初心者にはつらいものがあります。
その分、内容は盛りだくさんでした。

ＰＩＣを使って電子回路を組んでみたけど、
今度はロボットのような動く物をやってみたいという方や、
ＰＩＣの制御関係をやりたいかた向けの本ですね。
