実践的にプログラムを書いていく課程でC言語を学んでいこう、という本。
将棋を学ぶのにはルールブックを手にしただけでは十分ではない。定跡を身につけなければ強くなれないし、定跡を学ぶ課程でルールの勘所を掴むのが早道だ。
プログラミングにも同じ事が言えるはずで、視点としては正しかったと思う。

しかし残念ながら、いたる箇所でルール（文法や用語の使い分けなど）の細かな説明が長々と続いてしまい、意図と実際とが遊離してしまっている。
その詳細な解説はむしろ平易な入門書を一通り読んで「わかった気になりかけている」初心者にこそ必要なものだろう。

論理的に書かれていないので非常に読みにくい。名著は他にたくさんあるのでそっちを読む方が賢明であろう。

入門書として使うには不適切。
他の入門書を読んである程度知識があるが、実際プログラムを作る場面で
挫折してしまった、という人にはお勧めかもしれない。
もっとも私としては他にも良い本は沢山あると思うので、無理して読む必要は無いと思った。
