都道府県別に怪奇現象、未確認動物などの記事が別れているのが面白いです。自分の行ったことがある土地や、出身地での伝承などを読み進めていくと、その地方に新たな愛着やイメージが沸いてきます。この価格としてはボリュームたっぷりで幅広い記事が掲載されていますが、その分内容が薄いのが玉にきずです。この本を読んで興味がある記事がいくつかありましたが、もっと深く掘り下げてほしいという欲求不満を感じました。

季節がら面白そうなので購入しました。内容的には１ページ１話で構成され電車での移動にはもってこいですが内容はその分浅いです。全てがカラーならもっと楽しめたのに。

　タキタロウをはじめとする怪魚、巨大魚も多数掲載されています。
コンビニムックを超える、邦UMAの掲載数と詳細な内容。
５００円以上の面白さを感じましたよ。
　私が子どもの頃に、同書が学校の図書館にあったら、絶対人気あったろうなあ〜！
