原題は『社会構成主義としてのセラピー』。ナラティヴ・セラピーの本というより、社会構成主義を学ぶための本と思った方がよい。
同じテーマの他の本と比較すると、各論者が、家族療法やシステム論的な両方から社会構成主義的アプローチを採用するに至った経緯や理由がわかるのが特徴。なので、社会構成主義的なアプローチと他の方法論との位置関係がわかる。その分内容は拡散的で、入門者は混乱するおそれあり。

もしくは、論文集みたいな感じです。

物語療法とかナラティヴ・セラピーとか社会構成主義を知らなくて
でも、手元に手に入りなそうなのがこの本しかない場合
初見で読んでも、それなりに知識を吸収できますが
再度、別の本を読むことをお勧めします。

日本語訳されている書籍は少ないので
これはこれであると重宝します。
