標準編にくらべてナチュラルなスピードのＣＤでより実践的。
英会話ＣＤにありがちな音がこもった感じもなくクリアな音声が聞けるのでお勧め。

教科書の改訂により、中身が入れ替わった新版。音読ブームの元祖とも言えるシリーズの完結編。高校１年生レベルの英語でこの程度の内容が語れるということに目を開きましょう。意味がわかるとか理解するというだけが英語学習ではないのですね。せっかく内容のバラエティが取れるように１冊にまとめ直してくれたので、どこかの高校で思い切って、高校１年の専用教材にこれを使って１学期で徹底したらどうでしょうかね？週４，５時間これだけひたすら繰り返して身体に染みこませる。その後はもう、文法・構文でも、スピーチ、ディベートなどのオーラル・コミュニケーションでも、ボキャビルでも好きな方向に進んでみる、というカリキュラムはいかがでしょうか？

序文に「だまされたと思って、とにかくやってみてください」とあります。「３ヶ月で変化、３年で結果」とも書いてあります。「だまされたと思って」やってみました。感想は「やってよかった！」
音読をやればすぐに英会話ができるわけではありませんが、英語が口を出るのが少し楽になった気がします。くせになりそうです。テキストの内容も大人でも興味が持てるものがそろっています。
対象は、TOEIC６００点以上となっていますが、特に、「高得点でも話すのは苦手」（私もその一人）という人にはぴったりのレベルでしょう。
今、「続」でない古いほうの本を読んでいます。レベルは同じですが、製本が「続」のほうが音読・筆写向きです。各レッスンの長さも「続」のほうがやや揃っていてやりやすくなっています。
