はじめてトーイックを受けようとする人でとりあえず目標が６００点前後の人や、高校生・浪人生で受けようとする人におすすめ。
あるいは、英検準２級以下の実力の方がトーイックをやるには、本書での語彙暗記が最初にやるべきことだろう。

トーイックはあらゆる英語力の人が一律に受ける試験であるから、一冊でＴＯＥＩＣの単語を網羅したような全レベル対応型の単語帳だとかなり難しい単語まで含まれており、まずまずの得点を取れればいいと考える人や初学者には不要な部分も大きい上に、挫折する危険が大きい。そういう人はとりあえず６００点に必要な最低限の語彙を掲載した本書をやるのがいいだろう。

特に高校生浪人生の場合、レベル別にわかれている本書は使いやすいであろうし、大学受験や英検との兼ね合い上からも本書の６００点突破がいいと思う。（高校生・浪人生が一律問題であるトイックの対策や受験をするのはあまり効率がいいこととは思えないが）。高校卒業程度≒大学受験に必要な力≒トイック６００点、だからだ。大学受験用単語集とトイックの語彙は傾向に差異があるが、６００点突破に必要なのは基礎的な力であり、大学受験語彙と重なる部分もあり相乗効果も期待できる。

ただちょっと色彩に鮮やかさがない＝モノクロといった視覚的工夫の欠如と、単語と訳語・例文だけで語法に関する記述がないのが惜しまれる。

まあ語法の記述がないのはほとんどの類書も同様で、むしろ本書は例文がすべての語彙についている分、いい方かもしれないが。

私の企業ではTOEICスコアが将来昇進の材料として非常に重要になっています。なかなかTOEICの点が伸びない私に、先輩社員がこの本をこっそりと薦めてくれました。先輩も別の先輩にこの本を薦められ、使ったところあっという間にその効果が出て、高得点を取れたということでした。私はこの本を使って早１ヶ月になるのですが、今まで使ってきた他社の本とはかなり違い、楽しみながら単語・熟語を覚えられます。特に短い例文は重宝してますし、例文の中で語彙を増やすのが私には合っている感じがします。CDも今までに聞いたことのない、暗記用CDで、アルファ波を利用した優れモノです。次回のTOEICでは、先輩のように必ず成果を上げたいと今、必死になってこの本を利用しています。
