吃音の概論から、各種指導・訓練法が紹介されており、最後にそれを用いた具体的な症例が報告されているため、理解しやすいと思います。
注釈が充実しているため、言語治療について学び始めたばかりの方におすすめです。また、メンタル・リハーサルの詳細な説明や、成人の症例は、流暢性改善や吃音をもちながら楽に発話することをめざす吃音者本人にも参考になると思います。
