節約アドバイザーの丸山晴美さん、元銀行員で投資に詳しい横田濱夫さんの共著。
互いの苦手分野を補い合い、デフレ時代にマッチした良書です。
ただ、これがどのような時代に読んでも「ああそうか」と思える節約本かというと
まだまだそうじゃなく、改良の余地が一杯あるように思えます。

もし改訂版を出す機会があったら、もっと普遍性のある「節約版・家庭の医学」を、
このお二人にぜひお願いしたいものです。

　「日常生活でする節約」の基本的な考え方を、
身近な具体例を上げて、
対談の形でかいてある本です。
　「節約したいけれど、どこから手をつけよう」
と思っている、独身の方におすすめです。
　すでに、しっかり節約にはげまれている方には
ものたりないかも。

はじめて一人暮らしを始める方、
これまで節約を意識して生活をしたことがない方に良い本だと思います。

レシピ集がついているので、お料理初心者の人にも役立ちそうです。

ただ節約生活３年の私にとっては当たり前の内容ばかりでした。
内容は　過激な節約法ではなく、いたって普通。
簡単に取り入れられることばかりです。
モノグサな私でもやっているので、誰でもできる節約法では？と思います。

だたし納得できないこともチラホラ。
「日用品の安売りのマトメ買いは損！」 と書いてありましたが、
私は２〜３個マトメ買いしたい派なので。

また「白米より玄米の方がお得」とありましたが、
家の近所で10kg2980円で売ってますので、玄米とそう変わらない価格のようです。
そして、玄米は農薬が残りやすく心配。
農薬を使っていない「有機JAS認定」の玄米を買うとなると、
割高になってしまって節約にならないし。

こういった矛盾を
栄養士やファイナンシャルプランナーなど専門家の方との対談で解決できたら、
もっと興味深く読めたと思います。
