松永氏の「わが子は最低点・・・」や「できるだけ塾に行かずに・・・」を読んで共感し、本書も購入しました。▼どうしたことでしょう？今までの濃い内容の素晴らしいテクニックの詰まったものとは一転。この本には、何のノウハウも書かれていません。▼『デキル子の家は片付いている』に始まり、あたり前といえば、あたりまえ。疑問といえば疑問といった内容ばかりで半分が占められています。▼勉強法にしても、基礎を固めるという、それこそ、誰もが当然と思う事柄ばかり。ツールやメソッドの紹介はありません。▼この著者は、できるだけ勉強を効率よくし、最大の結果を得ることを推奨しており、その方法こそ、『目から鱗』。であったはず。常識中の常識をわざわざ購入してまで、時間を割いて読んだだけに残念でなりません。

第一章でまず、「どうして勉強しなければならないのか」を松永さんは具体的に子どもに説明しています。
分かりやすく日本の今の経済のしくみや、実際に会って話した働く人の話から、「高学歴になることの意味」を子どもに解説するやり方は、子どもを一人の人間として扱っていることを感じます。だからこそ、長年にわたり子どもたちを勉強する方向に説得することが出来たのだと思います。
その後の具体的な学習方法でも、親は子どもに「やりなさい」と言うのではなく、親自身が率先して環境づくりに取り組み、自然に勉強する方に導く方法が書かれていて、子どもの事はやはり親自身が自覚して変わる必要があるということなのでしょう。
子どもを怒鳴りつけたりせずに、勉強するように説得できそうな本です。
