一年を通して季節の色んな話が書かれているエッセイ集。
シンプルで温もりを感じる装丁。読み始め1ページ目からいきなり引き込まれます。
筆者の優しく美しい言葉の使い方にとても癒されるんです。どのページも私を素敵な場所へと運んでくれ、ページをめくるのが楽しくて仕方ありません。
こんなに心が躍る本に出会えて感激！
「暮らしの手帖」創刊当時からの連載を編集してるのかな。。
おそらく、30年以上も前のものなのに、今読んでもとっても新鮮です。
日常のこと、外国のこと、お洒落のこと、料理やお菓子のこと、女が仕事を持つということ、家族を持つということ、素敵なひとのこと。。
様々なことを教えてくれ、素敵のエッセンスがぎゅっとつまってます。
愛読書の1つになりそう♪

この本の中にはたくさんの小さな幸せが詰まっています。日々の暮らしの中で見つけた「いいこと」を小さなお話にして１月ごとにまとめられています。人のやさしさのこと、さりげないオシャレのこと、お料理の作り方、心温まるエピソードが本の中に広がっています。１２か月分をゆっくり楽しんで欲しい、すてきな本です。

「すてきなあなたに」は、毎日の生活がより豊かになるような“暮らしのエッセンス”がギュッと詰まった素敵な１冊です。
「すてきなあなたに」のシリーズは、この１巻を読んでからとてもお気に入りになり、４巻すべて買いそろえてました。（少しずつですが・・笑）

また、花森安治さんの挿絵や装丁も魅力で、１頁めくるごとに“まごころ”のような温もりさえ感じます。

気分がいっぱいになってしまった時や、また、おいしいお茶を淹れて、そんなひとときには“くつろぎの時間”をもたらせてくれる本とも言えるでしょう。

“暮らしの苗木”を育てるエッセンスでもある、「すてきなあなたに」で、暮らしを芽吹かせてみる・・、そんな気分にさせてくれます！
