モンテッソーリ教育を取り入れている保育園で、実際に先生方が考案し手作りした遊具が、作り方とあわせカラー写真で紹介されています。
どれも、身近な素材や家庭にある不用品などで作れるものばかり。主に10ケ月から３歳前後の子どもたちが楽しめるもので、その楽しいアイデアに脱帽！「これなら、私にも作れそう！」と思えるものばかりです。
娘の通う園もモンテッソーリ教育を実践している園ですが、園が違うと遊具もこんなに違うのね〜、と、同じ園のママさん達にも貸して回し読みしています。モンテッソーリのことをよく知らないお母さんでも、小さなお子さんと楽しめる手作りオモチャを作ってみたい方に、とても参考になる本ではないかと思います。

モンテッソーリ教育に熱心なわけではないですが、
０〜３歳くらいの子どもの為の手づくりおもちゃのヒントがいっぱいで
とても参考になります。

対象年齢や、そのおもちゃで遊ぶことによって上達する動作などが書かれており、
なおかつおもちゃの作り方のパートはカラー写真が多いので
とても使いやすい本です。

図書館で借りてきて読んでみて
「ずっと手元に置いておきたい本だ」と実感したので
今回購入することにしました。

モンテッソーリ教育を少し知ると、実際どんなことをするんだろう？？
わが子の年にあった活動は？
という疑問がわくとおもいますが、その点でこの本はとても参考になります。
読み終わって、1００円ショップに行き、いろいろと試してみました。
もちろん実際の園ではもっともっとたくさんのことがあるのですが
家庭で、日常以外にやってみるならおすすめです。
基本は、お花の水やり、食事用意、お洗濯、ゴミ出しなど、
お手伝いが家で一番いいことなので、それもおすすめします。
