まずは科学の基礎知識、論理的な思考方法、観察眼こそを育てるべきことを実感します。
結局、薄っぺらな理解しかないから、こういったトンデモがまかり通ってしまうのでしょう。
ニセ情報に惑わされないことをすべてのひとに願います。

綺麗な結晶ができたから良くて、そうでなければ悪いという単純な決め付けは相変わらずで、さらに再現性（つまり他人による検証可能性）はないと開き直っているからさらにタチが悪くなっている。ただ、この開き直りのせいで、この「水の結晶」が科学的に認められる可能性はゼロになった。
科学的ではなくても、江本氏の話はためになると考えている方々には、こうした人たちが自然保護運動やＮＧＯ、ＮＰＯの活動に首を突っ込み、科学的には何の根拠もない話を臆面もなく撒き散らすために、本当にまともな研究者の協力が得られなくなり、こうした運動が台無しになること、について想像していただきたい。

問題は、「水が音楽を聴く」ことはないということだ。
「聴く」のは生物である。物質が「聴く」ことはない。
物質が何かを感じると本当に思ったとしたら、それは既にオカルトと呼ばれても仕方がない。
　
大前提が真実ではない以上、たとえ１％でも真実であるかのように受け取られる「売り方」をしてはいけないのではないか。本書をはじめとする「水」本の最大の問題点は、オカルトを事実であるかのように意図的にねじまげて主張していることだ。「主張なんてしていない」という言い訳をされるが、それならば、科学と混同されて害を与えないために、表紙と前書きと後書きとに、「これは科学的事実とは異なる」と、目立つ断り書きをすべきだ。
結晶なんて誰でも作ることができる。設備と手順だけの問題だ。
それを言葉や音楽と関連づけたり、価値観を重ね合わせたりして人を混乱させてはいけない。
