私は、これまで大学で、心理学の基礎と、一般教員が上級資格をとる時と同じ特別支援教育について学びました。

特別支援教育についての学びは、障害児を持つ母として、苦しいものでした。
障害児の扱い方がただの概論でしかなく、その歴史の悲惨さがさらに私を苦しめました。
一般教員が、こんなことだけを学んで先生になっているのなら、こどものことなんて、わかってもらえるはずがないと、がっかりしたほどです。求めていたものとは違ったのです。

この本にかかれている応用行動分析学による遊びの支援は、遊びの中で子供の発達を促進する行動です。
子供とうまく遊び、遊びの中でかかわりを深め、子供のやる気を出します。
親に愛されたい子供はやる気を出して、自分のいいところをみせようと頑張ってくれるんです。

子供との関わりで悩んでいる人には、ぜひ、読んでほしいです。

「障がいのある子との…」という名の本ですが、障がいのあるなしに関わらず、こどもと遊ぶ上でのコツがとても分かりやすく書かれています。本のタイトルに“障がいのある子”と書いてしまったのが、残念で☆４つです。最近のお母さん方と話をしていると、“遊び方がわからない”“一人でも十分遊んでいますよ”とおっしゃる方が多いように思います。“こどもにとっての遊び”とは何でしょう？再確認するためには、よい本だと思いました。
