気象の本となると固いイメージのものが多いが、
この本は、すべての季節について詳しく説明しています。
お天気のトリビアみたいな事もしれます。
天気を身近に感じることが出来ました。
出来ることなら続編がでないかと待ちわびてしまうほどの一冊です。

この本は天気に関することではなく、天気を通して「季節」を感じることを目的として書かれています。

四季に初夏と梅雨の時期を加えた六季をメインチャプターにして、その季節独特の光景や気候、行事を半井さんがわかりやすく解説してます。

特に、半井さん個人の意見や思いが随所に詰まっていて、ファンのみなさんも楽しめます。

私お勧めの読み方は、丁度今の時期を解説している節を読む読み方です。

なので別に初めから読む必要はなく、買った時期に合わせた節から読んでいけば、半井さんの目的である「季節を感じる」ことが出来ると思います。

ＮＨＫの半井さんが書かれた本。この本はいわゆる気象現象を詳しく解説した本ではありません。季節を身近に感じる空模様や、年中行事、風物詩の話題に、写真やイラストを添えて書かれたものです。具体的には「春の章」「初夏・梅雨の章」「夏の章」「秋の章」「冬の章」の５つに分かれており、それぞれに半井さんが美しい四季の彩りを書き綴っています。また、コラムもとても充実していて、「ついに私も花粉症デビュー」とか「気象予報士を目指した私」など、興味深いものがたくさんあります。読んでいて気持ちが暖かくなるような本ではないでしょうか。
