とても良い本だ。
精神訓話を排して実際的であり、実務に役立つ内容と思う。
例題を提示して、読者に考えさせる構成もよい。

以前いた職場で「ミス防止委員会」なるものが開催されている。
私がもしこの委員になったら、真っ先にこの本を買うだろう。

いくつかヒューマンエラーに関する本を買ったのですが、この本が一番とっつきやすく、分かりやすい本でした。薄い本なので忙しい人にもオススメです。

内容的にはどちらかと言うと理論優先なので、すぐに仕事に活かせるような本ではないのですが、とりあえずヒューマンエラー防止とはどういう概念なのか、根本的な問題をどうやって解決すべきかの指標は与えてくれます。私はソフトウェア開発を仕事としているのですが、その中で色々と活かせる知恵を与えてくれた本でした。

「ヒューマンエラーは権限を持った人間様が御自ら事故を新興させるため、非常に深刻な結末にいたることがあります」。

ヒューマンエラーとは何か、どのような要因で起きるのか、防ぐ方法はあるのか、改善するにはどうすればよいのか、具体的な例を分類して列挙した上でそこから得られる教訓を示し、わかりやすく解説しながら多角的視点でヒューマンエラーについて適切な理解が得られるように平易にまとめてある。行間が開いていて、比較的すぐ読み終わる。

人間は間違える生き物だ。そのミスによって時には悲劇がおきる。一方、人間はミスから学んで成長することもできる生き物でもある。致命的ではない小さな間違いを犯す機会を経ることで、物事の本質に気づき、むしろ人間の成長がはぐくまれることもあることも本書は示している。
