日本の中世・近世における被差別民を中心に短い文章でまとめられてます。
わかりやすく噛み砕いて書かれているので、歴史をまったく知らない人でも、取っ掛かりになるのではないかと思います。

部落問題の新たな一面が知れるのではないでしょうか？
そして、その中の関心をもったものを掘り下げていくのも面白いと思います。

部落関係の文献をあさって読んでいたが、そこに書かれていたのは
いかに差別が陰湿だったか、解放運動の歴史などであり
当たり前のように被差別部落が存在していた以降の事ばかりであったが
この本は、そのような差別心など全くなく書かれている
から、部落問題について知らない人が読んでも差別心は生まれないだろうと思う

部落発生に対しての手がかりになるような事が
コラム形式で軽い文体で書いてあるので読み易い
　
ちょっと時間の合間にコラムを一つ読んでも良い
ただし体系的にまとまって書かれた本ではない
エッセイ的な話が載っているので
ある程度の知識を持った人が別の視点から見ても軽く読めるし
全く部落について知らない人が読んでも、まあ、歴史などに興味があれば
面白いと思う
