北海道警察本部に警察庁から特別監察が入った。監察官は警察庁のキャリアである藤川警視正。藤川は、半年前、道警の裏金問題の為に百条委員会でうたった(証言した)津久井刑事に監察の協力を要請した。一方、札幌大通署の佐伯刑事は、ホテルでの部屋荒らしの捜査を進めていた。被害者は、すすき野の風俗営業店で死んだ男の父親だった。大通署に再捜査の依頼の為、そのホテルに泊まっていたのだという。佐伯は、部下の新宮と事故現場に向かうのだが…。『笑う警官』に続く道警シリーズ第二弾。

舞台が道警ってどうよ？ （道産子のみなさんすみません）
「笑う警官」を読んだときには地味な設定だと思ったし、まぁ普通の警察小説というか。
だから正直、この本には期待していなかったし「笑う警官」を読んでからずいぶんたっています。もう読む本がなくてこれを。
いや〜これおもしろいよね。キャリアのハナクソおぼっちゃまが好意的に書かれている本ははじめてかも（笑）
キャリアくんたちがよく小説の中に出てくるけど、ほぼ８割方はその通りらしいですよ。知り合いの弟が現職警察官で、たいへんなんだよ〜ってぼやいているそうです。

この本は、警察官の日常や心配事やらをよく調べてますわ。思わず交番のおまわりさんに親近感を持ってしまいました（笑）
佐々木 譲氏は、冒険小説のイメージが強かったですが、新境地ですね。
テレビの2時間サスペンスにはない重厚さがあります。
買って損はありません。いや660円でこれだけ楽しめるんです。お得です！

　前回読んだ『笑う警官』の続編です。
今回は、警察署の中で暴力団に情報を流している者がいるらしい・・という所から始まります。
北海道警察本部に警察庁から特別監察が入ります。
そのキャリアこそ、警察庁から来た男、藤川警視正。
『笑う警官』で、うたったことで処分をうけた津久井刑事が協力をする事になりますが。
いろいろな事件が共通していて、どんどん犯人を絞っていくのですが、最後が・・・。
期待していたような結末ではなかったけれど、題名が『警察庁から来た男』なので、藤川警視正が主人公と考えれば、そうなってしまうのかな？

　前作「うたう警官」（「笑う警官」）を受けての２作目は１作目が丁寧に状況設定を作り上げたので、テンポ良く展開していく。
　相変わらず、佐伯刑事ほか、津久見、小島の主要な役者は健在であった。ラストも分刻みの描写に心躍った。次回作には、さらに新展開を期待する。
