アーシアンからの高河ゆんさんのファンです。登場人物達の感情がストレートに伝わってくるストーリーも魅力ですが、高河さんの個性的で色鮮やかなカラーも素敵ですよね。今回は久しぶりのイラスト集発売で、好きなラブレスのイラストが沢山見れると思い、かなり期待して購入しましたが「コミックスの表紙や、コミックス内表紙のカラーをそのままイラスト集に、何ページも使って載せるのはどうなんだろう？」と多少ガッカリしてしまいました。コミックスとは大きさが違うから、多少印象は違って見えるかもしれませんが、それをやる位なら、もっと別のカラーを載せて欲しかったと思ってしまいました。とはいえ、作者のコメント、書き下ろしイラスト、未発表のイラストもいくつか入っているのでファンの方には良い内容になっていると思います。コミックス派の人には嬉しい、雑誌掲載時のみに使われたカラーも沢山載っていました。主にラブレスのイラスト~比較的新しいアーシアン~恋愛クラウン~ガンダムのイラスト等が載せられています。中でもやっぱりラブレスのイラストが力が入っていると思うし、色も綺麗で素敵です。

今回のカラーはフォトショップで仕上げたものが多いのですが、やはり高河ゆん、デビュー当時からの色彩感覚の鋭さは、卓越したものです。
誰にも真似できないその微妙な色の取り合わせ、そして、画力の高さは、高河ゆんマニアでなくとも、参考になることうけあい。彼女の漫画を知らない方でも、充分に色に溺れ、流麗な線に酔ってしまうことでしょう。
装丁も、特殊印刷を用いています。和文様の合成を使用したアーシアンのイラストも、素晴らしい仕上がりになっています。グラフィックデザイナーの方も影響を受けるような画集ではないでしょうか。
とりわけ、キャラクターの衣装デザインが素晴らしいです。ピアッシング、ボンテージテイストの衣装（表紙参考）など。
LOVELESSは今流行の猫耳キャラなのですが、そんな流行もものともせず、ロマンチックな描写は非常に魅力的です。

YOUR EYES ONLY見ての通りは高河 ゆん先生の画集です。　COVERは今連載中のLOVELESSの立夏です。５０％は「LOVELESS」で、書いてきた絵やまだ皆さんがお目にかかってない絵が載っております。ちょっと残念だったのがZEROが一ページにしか載っていないって事ですかね。その次の何ページかは昔先生が書いていたアーシアン、COMIC　CRIMSON,わんだーらんどなどなどの作品が数々に登場。そして８４，８６，８８ページには高河 ゆん先生の好きな種（またはガンダム）のキラ、シン、アスラン、他が書かれています。原作に似てるし。色がとても綺麗。種が好きで先生の作品が好きと言う人にはぜひ見てもらいたいです。
高河 ゆん先生の絵に対しての感想や先生がとった写真も所どこにに載っております。値段はちょっと高いと思う方もいると思いますが、中身がザックリ入っていますので、損はないと思います。これかの連載に期待が高まる画集でした。
