　どう見ても明久が総受にしか見えません。本当にありが（ｒｙ
　うっかりすると見落としがちですが、明久中心のハーレムものです。周囲にいる女子はおろか男子までその毒牙にかかってるといえます。確実に間違いではありません。少なくとも姫路さんの脳内ではそういうことになってるはずです。もしかしたら美波の脳内でも。
　今回は召喚獣バトルは殆どなくてドキドキワクワク友達の家でお勉強大会でしたが、美波の家があまりにも普通すぎて逆に和みました。でも明久のお婿さんは、もう秀吉でいいんじゃないかと思います。

今作は、明久の姉が襲来し、一人暮らし防衛のため品行方正で学業に励む充電の回といえばよいでしょうか。
期末試験前勉強会として明久・雄二・美波・翔子宅へと自宅訪問・各キャラの家庭の事情が少し明らかになります。
ラブな展開は３巻４巻に比べて甘さ控えめですし、よく言えば落ち着いてきた。悪く言えばパワーダウンした感じを持ちました。

そういえば、アニメイト購入限定特典でぷちドラマCDがついてます。

今までとは少々趣を異にする第５巻。抱腹絶倒のおバカ振りは相変わらずだが学園パートがほとんど登場せず、従って召喚獣の登場も一度きりである。本巻の舞台は明久をメインに雄二、美波、翔子それぞれの住居であり、ゲストヒロインは当然ながら表紙の人である。このヒロインがまた変り者で、学園とは一味違った攻撃に晒される明久の姿がちょっと新味。明久の自宅での生活振りを垣間見ることもできる。また、雄二の家庭環境や美波の可愛らしい秘密、翔子のゴージャス過ぎる邸宅など、これまで触れてこなかった（というか、これまでは触れる必要が無かった）要素にスポットがあてられたのも本巻ならではの特徴と言えよう。姫路さんのトレードマークとも言うべきアイテムにも明久との思い出らしき秘密がありそうである。惜しむらくは、ゲストヒロインがもう少し弾けた方が良かったこと。登場の仕方こそブッ飛んでいて大いに期待したが、その後は言動に時折可笑しいところはあったものの意外に真面目な堅物イメージの方が印象に残り、やや中途半端に思われる。明久ラヴの側面を全開（全壊）にすればもっと魅力を引き出せたと思う。おそらく次巻はまた学園に舞台を戻して派手な召喚獣バトルになりそう。学園長が何かやらかしたような引きがそれを予感させる。しかし、姫路さんも美波も表だった行動こそ少なかったものの、明久への想いがダダ漏れになりつつあって微笑ましい。いつにも増して男を主張する秀吉も却って可愛い。特にＰ．２５５の挿絵など。
