大人気猫マンガブログ「くるねこ大和」の単行本化。

飼っている猫の殆どが捨て猫という経歴も凄いけど、
「捨ててある猫を見たら、絶対に拾う。どうせ後で拾うんだから」
という作者のポリシーが凄いなぁと思う。

出てくる猫たちは個性豊かで、どれもかわいい。
また猫に対する作者の愛も感じます。
ブログはまだまだ連載中なので、続編も希望です。

商業デザイナーの作者がブログで描いていた漫画が、本となったもの。
「もんさん」、と拾い猫の「ポ子」「ぼん」「トメ」の４匹を飼う作者。
猫の行動をよく見ています。その視線のやさしさ、穏やかさ。
『魔法のじゅうたん』の「ぼん」の様な、擬人化ユーモアが冴えています。
猫好きな方なら、更に猫好き度が向上する一冊でしょう。

私自身はネットで読んでいたのですが、ネット環境が整っていない友人に
教えるために書籍化されたこの本を買いました。

既に読んでいたのですが、本となるとまた別で暇があれば読み返しています。
シンプルな構成と愛情のこもった描き方で、何回読んでも飽きない。
時々お江戸言葉が出てくるのが時代劇好きな私に「素敵」と思わせます。
そして何より猫のフォルムがとてもかわいい。
ぶさ猫も美猫も仔猫もみなかわいいー。
可能な限りデフォルメしてありますが、それぞれの特徴が出てていいなあ、と。

猫漫画には当たり外れがありますが、この本は間違いなく当たりです。
続編希望いたします。
