まぁ、悪夢でも何でも無く、むしろウェルカムなんですが、
久々に玉吉先生が新たなペルソナを産み出す事に（笑）
思いっきり昔のガロしていて、駄目な人も多そうだが、
ここ近年の氏の作風は良くも悪くも水木先生やつげ先生のそれに近く、
読んでいると「ふふっバカだなぁ♪」と思わず顔が綻んでしまう。
今回は氏の闘病記も収録されているのだが
コレがリアルで、自分が手術した時とまったく同じであった。
ＸＸＸ管の痛みは経験した人にしか解らんぜよ。
１巻の続きが気になっている人も多いとは思うが、残念ながら続編は描かれておらず
氏の悪いクセが出たと言えない事も無いが、
相変わらずの内容は愉快（今時こんな表現が出来る漫画は少ない）でホッっとする。
色々患ってしまっている困った作家さんであるのは疑い様に無い事実なのだが、
それでも愛してやまないファンが沢山いる事を励みに氏には頑張って頂きたい。

脳内彼女の白鳥さんが突然出てきたと思っていたらそのまま準レギュラー化。
フィクションなのかノンフィクションなのかいつまで経ってもその境界線が分からないでいます。
突如姓名判断の話の流れのままその場の思いつきで、
奥村勝彦に改名してエロ漫画を描き出したりと玉吉節は健在。
ファミ通の四コマまで改名する念の入れよう(笑)

不健康漫画家の地位を改めて固めたようなボロボロな生き様。
このままこのような作風で突き進む不安とまだ玉吉生きてるやっていう安堵感を乗せてコアなファンを引きつれひっそり連載中。

漫画界において孤高のポジションを確立しつつある桜玉吉氏の最新刊です。
読まれる方は少なくとも前二作の「防衛」「幽玄」、また可能ならばファミ通週刊化後の「しあわせのかたち」を読んでおくことをお勧めします。

氏の作品は巻を重ねる度に人を選ぶ傾向が高まっているのは他の方も指摘されている通り。
「防衛」「幽玄」を読まずして「御緩」から入るのは少しきついかもしれません。
何より、面白いですよ！

で、「御緩」です。「幽玄」シリーズから微妙に路線変更して「おっとりエロ」路線な訳ですが、
１巻を面白いと感じたなら２巻ではずすことはまずありえないと思われます。

１巻のトク子ちゃんエピソードが全く黙殺されて、入院・改名と「桜玉吉ＮＯＷ」が堪能できる巻となっております。
「トク子ちゃんの続きが見たいのに！キー!!」的なある意味まっとうな批評をする気が全く起きないあたり、
ああ漫玉日記だねえと微笑ましくなってしまいます。

個人的には奥村勝彦名義でのヨン様漫画がクリティカルヒット。
これ読んでからというものヨン様見たらあのイメージしか浮かんできませんよ！
どうしてくれるんですか！
