各話１話完結のオムニバスストーリー漫画です。
タイトルにあるように、話の中に必ず『珈琲』が登場します。
ストーリーにかかせないアイテムであったり、ちょっとしたアクセントであったりと
登場人物と『珈琲』の関わり方は様々ですが、決して『珈琲』中心の話ではないです。
むしろ、ちょっと甘かったりホロ苦かったりするストーリー展開自体が
まさに『珈琲』そのものを表現していると感じます。

日常生活の中の些細な事件やささやかな幸せ、ちょっとした偶然などが
非常に綿密なタッチの雰囲気ある画風で描かれており、
実はその絵柄のみにひと目惚れして衝動買いした私にとって
たくさんの予想外の感動をくれた素晴らしい作品です。

物語の随所に登場するコーヒー．
それは恋の思い出だったり，行きつけの店のなじみの味だったり．
そんなコーヒーにまつわる一話完結型の物語．

版画を思わせるような独特のタッチと細かい書き込みはとても温かいイメージ．
お店で淹れてもらうコーヒー，自分で淹れるコーヒー，愛する人が淹れてくれるコーヒー，
読んだあとにコーヒーが飲みたくなる，やさしい，また切なくなるようなお話がたくさん．

　中心になったり、傍らにあったりと、様々なスタイルでコーヒーが登場する一話完結型の叙情的な物語。
　人生という旅の傍らにはいつもコーヒーがあった。
　作者の内面が個性的な「絵」で繊細に描かれる。

　本作には山川直人先生のコーヒーへの深い愛情が表されていて、作品から溢れ出すコーヒーの香りが、読者を喫茶店へと誘います。
　また先生の個性的な「絵」が、写実的な「絵」では表しえない切なさ、そして懐かしさを連れてきてくれるでしょう。
